I have been to this creek twice know, going again in November. When we went to the on the first night, I nearly got a fish, but I lost it a few feet from the bank. Rinse and repeat the next morning with my dad and we had it in the net. However, this was our first time here, so we had a tiny net. It got out and we lost it. The second time we went in January and we didn’t even get a bite. In October, you could see the fish go up and down the creek, running almost violently. According to the pa fish and game commission, they can go twenty five miles per hour in the streams. This is a very good creek and I would recommend it over Walnut Creek, as it isn’t shoulder to shoulder fishing, and is fished by very nice people, several which we found out were from our area! I would suggest going in late November to early December, and bring at least ten lure minnows, as they run out quickly on the rocky shallow bottom.
