The west shore of this lake is by far, the most active in the fall. With a wide range of species including bass, crappie, bluegill, yellow perch, northern pike, carp, native brook trout, and lots of lily pads! The top water fishing here is great, and the crappie fishing is excellent in the spring.
Big creek is one of the best bodies of water I’ve fished! In the fall through early spring you can land plentiful steelhead, also in spring you can land trophy, hard fighting suckers, in later spring you can hit smallmouth that can get 18+ inches! Definitely a very friendly creek to fish with tons of species!
