abandoned golf course turned into a park with a small creek with rather large steelhead that enter the stream from a small yacht club very fun to fish lots of water to fish as well you can walk probably 1 and a half miles of creek to fish before the fish are unable to get any further upstream the fish go into the stream in the early fall to spawn all winter before leaving in mid spring with the newborn steelhead to go into the lake, grow and then repeat the process next year. all around a very fun place to take a beginner or an experienced fisherman to go fish or to just enjoy the sight of wild steelhead spawning to observe how they live, what they feed on, and how they act. hope this was helpful, tight lines.
It had a small campsite, kayaking, canoeing, and a public restroom with a lot of nice fishing spots. I just wish anglers would pick up their mess... I nearly filled a small plastic bag with trash from all our stops. Mostly hooks and fishing line. Seriously an incredible lake though!
