It is a prime target of fly fishermen as trout have a pretty broad diet spectrum, everything from tiny nymphs to fish, frogs and mice. Trout can rapidly change colour, getting darker when being aggressive, lighter when being submissive or in response to changing background colour. They typically get dark brown or yellow with prominent spots before and during spawning. They are sensitive to temperature, the optimal temperature is 52F° (+11C°). That's why they are found shallow in early spring, and deeper during the summer.
