The lake is in-between two trails with some decent terrain to get to good spots, so not a lot of people fish most of the lake. The fish aren't that pressured due to this, great lay downs and shallow grass so jig and frog fishing are excellent. It's not a pull up and hop out and fish type of lake.

A decent size late nestled around the Hermitage, Sharpsville and Transfer area of PA. Out of the many fish the lake holds, spring Crappie is beyond the best. There seems to be an abundant amount throughout the year with the majority reaching shallow waters in spring. Great for fishing, boating, camping and just relaxing
