I’ve worked on Seabrook for several years. A little over a year ago one of the club members told me about a nice fishing spot. First time out I caught 2 slot reds and a trout and have caught fish out there almost every time out since then. I’ve found that the second to last hour of the outgoing tide as well as the second hour after the tide turns seem to be when the big reds are out and about. This goes all year long, just much more action spring thru fall. If you have a kayak or small boat, even better. You can travel thru the creek and fairly easily see where there are fish schooled up. Lots of techniques work out here from jigging a Gulp Shrimp to putting live shrimp on a popping cork. I live using a knocker rig with a pink or green shrimp flavored Fish Bite strip.
It was a great family friendly place with great fishing from my kayak. I saw some places to fish from docks but not much from the shore. I got many pin fish, a spot croaker, and a pig fish. I also got a big fish on the line that unfortunately popped off but it means big fish are here though. I would definitely recommend fishing here if you get the chance.
