Beautiful spot to fish

Went here as a last resort after we got skunked at a previous lake. This place was gorgeous! Well kept and had paved walkways. People were extremely friendly and the bites were awesome! It also looks like they have boat rentals when available. Only con was the amount of snakes. Saw at least 10-15 but they were harmless. Caught two 2-3lbers.

KEEP THE CARP

There is no need to stock this lake with native species since there are already a multitude of other surrounding locations and on top of this a monster size lake that literally hugs the whole northern border of our state (Lake Erie) that have these species. If you want to catch bass, catfish, sunfish, perch, etc. you can go fishing in Lake Erie or a different park. This place is great for anglers who are into carp fishing and there are plenty of opportunities to hook up on unique and sizable fighting fish
