I never would of thought you could actually catch fish on the round tree branch. There are tons of different species of fish in the branch and it is a great place to go fishing inside of Platteville. I recommend if you go in town you go on the handicapped fishing dock behind fiesta Cancun and country kitchen or behind the chamber/Katie's garden for more fish and a good variety.

Coming from someone who has never fished down in the Lower 48 before, O’Leary is a great place to learn how to fish and catch a many species of the great Mississippi River. I’ve seen anything from bluegill, bass, sheepshead, to sturgeons, gars, catfish, and pike. I’m sure there much more in there but just naming a few. Awesome!
