very nice lake with beautiful scenery. there's 3 boat launch areas on the west end, east end, and towards the middle(south side). The west end boat launch is the most friendly to put in a kayak. The lake is still very young but the fishing there is great and the size of the fish caught there is improving. Its by far the best lake in the area and will remain so until West Lake reopens and is restocked.

I go there in the summer and constantly catch big bass and great sized bluegill for big cats Ez Livin is also right next to the Hennepin canal Recently a huge pike took up my lure but I didn’t get the hook in. I love this place and highly recommend it for beginners and pike fishermen
