I have lived here my whole life and caught some pretty darn big fish. Big walleyes, big largemouth, big smallmouth, big panfish, you name it! Last year, we caught a 20 inch smallmouth, lots of largemouth over 16 inches, and even a 29 inch walleye during the fall. The lack of a boat for some can be troublesome, but even shore fishing I’ve seen people catch channel catfish over 15 lbs so not much to complain about except for many recreational boats pulling skiers, tubers, and some jetskies.

Really good fishing spot for casuals. Good amount of bass of decent size, use to be a lot of sunfish/ blue gills but a lot were fished out before a catch and release sign was put up. Very weedy now in June but almost no weeds back in march. Use to be able to drive around the whole lake but a lot has been mudded up and less driveable (saw a car and a tow truck get stuck 2 days ago, both were able to get out). Now you just park in gravel and walk to where you want to fish.
