I have lived here my whole life and caught some pretty darn big fish. Big walleyes, big largemouth, big smallmouth, big panfish, you name it! Last year, we caught a 20 inch smallmouth, lots of largemouth over 16 inches, and even a 29 inch walleye during the fall. The lack of a boat for some can be troublesome, but even shore fishing I’ve seen people catch channel catfish over 15 lbs so not much to complain about except for many recreational boats pulling skiers, tubers, and some jetskies.

Was staying at the lakeside motel and caught lots of panfish perch and 1 bass straight off the end of there dock. Came with a 15$ rod from walmart and some crawlers so i broke off a few times on some bigger bass. You can also see carp surfacing but i didn’t have stuff for them.
