The golf course workers are so mean, the only public spot you can fish is very pressured, I even had a golf-course worker kick me out of a spot that was public city land, if you are sneaky and don’t think you’ll get caught, they have eyes everywhere, they will send a worker straight to you that will get mad at you, and if you try kayaking (because you can legally float over private property), they will call the DWR on you
The day I went it was one of the colder mornings the first week of September so there was no one swimming and fish weren’t pressured at all. I was the only angler there for awhile until 3 others came. Caught about 12 rainbows mostly on lures. Used powerbait to catch a couple but lures hooked the most.
