Coming from south TX I never expected there to be largemouth bass around the greater SLC area. I know there are smallies around but the Largemouth scene is fun! Wish I found out about it sooner instead of right before I moved. No fishing from any form of watercraft, only shore fishing permitted. PLEASE catch and release.

Lots of private property

The golf course workers are so mean, the only public spot you can fish is very pressured, I even had a golf-course worker kick me out of a spot that was public city land, if you are sneaky and don’t think you’ll get caught, they have eyes everywhere, they will send a worker straight to you that will get mad at you, and if you try kayaking (because you can legally float over private property), they will call the DWR on you
