Lots of private property

The golf course workers are so mean, the only public spot you can fish is very pressured, I even had a golf-course worker kick me out of a spot that was public city land, if you are sneaky and don’t think you’ll get caught, they have eyes everywhere, they will send a worker straight to you that will get mad at you, and if you try kayaking (because you can legally float over private property), they will call the DWR on you

Provo river is a tricky place to fish. Slower water have a lot of fish, faster water have fewer fish but the are bigger and healthier. Bounce rigs, Euro nymphing works very well. Make sure you are hitting the bottom if you are not then you are just standing in the water and not really fishing. Dry flying works all year round you just have to know what dry flies to use. Over L&L this is a top river to fish.
