I’ve been coming here for 7 years for a summer camp and have made so many memories it is a beautiful property witch lots of trails and fishing spots. If your looking to fish try the trails or the beaches I don’t have a lot of luck with the dam side. If your looking for a relaxing walk in nature it’s the right place. Tons of huge bass crappie and Trout I’ve personally never caught a pickerel but I’ve had some mysterious break offs.

Beautiful private lake. My family has had a house here since well before I was born. Lately good bass have been few and far between as the smile pups (pickerel) have taken over but there are still some good fish if you put in the time and effort. Hopefully the pickerel population will go down a bit soon. It wasn’t too long that Amston was a great bass fishing lake with many fish in the 3-5 pound range and some even bigger.
