I've caught lots of trout there, rainbows and browns for the most part. I've seen brook trout in there as well. People seem to get the idea that it's very polluted but CT has cleaned it up a lot obviously still kinda polluted but not bad at all definitely has come a long way.

I’ve been coming here for 7 years for a summer camp and have made so many memories it is a beautiful property witch lots of trails and fishing spots. If your looking to fish try the trails or the beaches I don’t have a lot of luck with the dam side. If your looking for a relaxing walk in nature it’s the right place. Tons of huge bass crappie and Trout I’ve personally never caught a pickerel but I’ve had some mysterious break offs.
