I’ve been coming here for 7 years for a summer camp and have made so many memories it is a beautiful property witch lots of trails and fishing spots. If your looking to fish try the trails or the beaches I don’t have a lot of luck with the dam side. If your looking for a relaxing walk in nature it’s the right place. Tons of huge bass crappie and Trout I’ve personally never caught a pickerel but I’ve had some mysterious break offs.
Small pond where boats aren’t allowed, super deep and there are some really solid bass there if you can get them to bite. I frequently catch pickerel, crappie, yellow perch, and bluegill here as well. Be careful though because there is a massive 30+ pound common snapping turtle dubbed Tortuga King or the Pond who frequently patrols his domain and is very inquisitive. I first met Tortuga this spring when I somehow hooked the very tip of his tail while casting the brush covered banks for bass 😅
