A great place to fish

Mason reservoir and McReynolds reservoir are right next to each other. You do have to sign up online to be able to gain access, which cost 20 bucks. But it is well worth it because it is not crowded with a lot of people, and it is a beautiful location with great sized fish.

Get the annual military pass (not given here) and entry fee is waived. Plenty of places to bank fish or drop a boat in. Been three times and hit the limit each time regardless spring, summer or late summer. Haven’t tried fall yet. Enough space where it seems crowded but isn’t actually crowded.
