Fishing is horrible but the park is nice
Not great fishing and if you park in that one parking spot…you know which one. You run the risk of getting offered to buy drugs or have to listen to loud annoying music and loud people gambling throughout the day.
It’s an alright spot, but crack Heads are everywhere. I saw dead fish on the shore and old needles. Maybe at some point it’s a good spot but most likely not.
As a landscaper, an aquarium enthusiasts and angler. Its probably all of that grass trimmings killing the fish and acting as fertilizerfor the algae. Grass=Nitrogen, nitrogen is bad for fish and great for plants and vegetation like algae. Honestly, its whoever is cutting the grass and shooting it into the lake, that's whats causing the algae bloom and whats killing the fish. I would bet 100 bucks on that.
Greasy fishing tons of variety never know what your gonna catch
