Great spot on TN river, just behind campus. came up on a recommend from a friend. After about an hour and a few bites but nothing to show for it. Landed nice green sunfish. About 20 minute later pole folds in half 8lb catfish. And while removing his hook. Landed a little striped. Great clean area off bike trail. Can walk up a bit and fish third creek too. I bottom fish mainly. Throw lures in the creek. But love this spot.

Needle creek

This creek is good for fishing, whatever you do avoid contact with the water. There is a strong fecal odor and the sight of needles, trash, and discarded stolen debt cards. %100 not family friendly %80 not normal people friendly. Most of the creek is also inaccessible due to the university’s new restoration project. I honestly don’t think god could restore that river🤣
