When you get there you gotta park in the church parking lot. Don’t be to conspicuous when fishing along the shoreline! Technically you aren’t supposed to fish this lake without permission but if you are polite you should be okay. They have enormous fish in here, not too much pressure so a great spot all around.
For a small 26 acre city lake, there sure are some great fish in here. I personally have caught Bluegill, Catfish, Crappie, and Bass. I love fishing this lake! You can catch fish, especially Bluegill in the lower spillway. My PB was almost a state record! Thought I had hooked a bass! The spillway is an excellent place to take young kids and show them the joys of fishing as well as the outdoors! When they get bored, there is an awesome creek to play in also!
