When you get there you gotta park in the church parking lot. Don’t be to conspicuous when fishing along the shoreline! Technically you aren’t supposed to fish this lake without permission but if you are polite you should be okay. They have enormous fish in here, not too much pressure so a great spot all around.
Larger and deeper than the other ponds in mckays mill, also far superior in terms of species diversity. There’s grass carps, largemouth bass, catfish (I think channel catfish, more specifically) and even a lot of koi fish. Great access all around, but there’s a sign that says only neighborhood residents are allowed to fish.
