Great little pond, great for smaller bass and sunfish, I haven’t caught anything else out of here. Is stocked from time to time with gills and crappie. If you’re looking for a small walk this is a good one, but if you have a bad back I’d be careful as the trail winds for a while.
There is no need to stock this lake with native species since there are already a multitude of other surrounding locations and on top of this a monster size lake that literally hugs the whole northern border of our state (Lake Erie) that have these species. If you want to catch bass, catfish, sunfish, perch, etc. you can go fishing in Lake Erie or a different park. This place is great for anglers who are into carp fishing and there are plenty of opportunities to hook up on unique and sizable fighting fish
