This lake is plenty stocked, and I'm hard pressed to say you'll see a more beautiful lake in New Mexico. All the amenities you'd need for a day of fishing. You will see fish there, only real down side, and it may just come down to the time of the year, is that there's a lot of minnows. Because of that, the fish have more than enough natural food and don't bite as good as they should.

the first couple times i came here i made the mistake of using lures and spinnerbaits. which just lead to alot of snags and little bites. but since i started using worms and letting them drift down the current ive been getting a fish about every 5 casts. ive also seen people have alot of luck fly fishing this area. just a very solid spot to stop by.
