Beautiful Lake

This lake is plenty stocked, and I'm hard pressed to say you'll see a more beautiful lake in New Mexico. All the amenities you'd need for a day of fishing. You will see fish there, only real down side, and it may just come down to the time of the year, is that there's a lot of minnows. Because of that, the fish have more than enough natural food and don't bite as good as they should.

Fenton Lake is very pretty

Fenton Lake is very pretty and is usually quiet and peaceful with friendly anglers. I almost never catch anything when I go but I seem to have bad personal luck there because other people limit out no problem. The lake has some signs that imply it's wheelchair accessible but to be honest it may be difficult at times to maneuver the wheels and some areas may be too steep. Definitely not when there's snow. They keep the roads up there plowed of snow, though, to ensure safer driving. Watch out for the ducks in the summer. They'll eat your bait.
