People love to fish Apollo for trout when they plant, but trout get fished out and often die out quickly. I think it just gets too hot out here and maybe the lake isnt deep enough for them to survive, but fear not carp fishing is some of the most fun I have ever had and there is plenty of great carp in this little lake. Average size is between 2 and 4 lbs. and believe it or not there are still some cats in here but they are few and far between. but if you want your kid to experience a real thrill of catching a big fish, load up your hook with some corn and let the good times begin...
Ever since I found out about this park I have loved coming here .. Think is great weather you’re looking for lil power walk or fish for a bit...the only bad thing I see is ppl not picking up there trash and then making it to the lake.. they are trash cans all over the place so I don’t know what’s hard about it ..what I really hope happens is that they start charging to visit ..
