As far as fishing from the bank/ boat ramp it’s not to bad. There is a lot of vegetation if your a crankbait or jerkbait fisherman/woman. The water is clear but during the summer the water get toxic from algae and if you take your dog there don’t let them in the water due to the toxic algae bloom.

We could not even get away from the very short dilapidated dock a few feet before vegetation started binding up the prop. No swimming/skiing etc. because water was toxic... the boat ramp was awful and narrow. We had visited this lake before but for BBQ's on land. we had no idea the condition of things for boaters. we will drive farther next time.

I was lazy a couple days and tried at the fishing dock, with NO SUCCESS. Not even a bite. I finally brought my 16 foot Klamath boat out and anchored a few different places and I found my honey hole. I go to the same spot every time and limit out on good size trout very quickly. There is a little grass but not an issue for as I know what leader length to run when floating baits off the bottom. I’ve never lost any rigs to snags. Over all, fun little lake. Love coming here.

Ramp is terrible and this lake has nothing but dinks. Don’t be fooled by guys claiming catches here. It seems to be a popular lake to claim your catches are at to keep people out of the actual good fishing lakes in the area.
