One of the best pier fishing locations in the US!
Big current though
I went on the south side but I didn’t hit the jetty. I went on the beach and fished. There were lots of bluefish. There are dolphins as well. Overall a good spot and the beach isn’t too crowded.
Bull Reds, Snook, Tarpon, Cobia, Cubera Snapper, Flounder are all here ….. Timing the tides right, throwing your line out and walk it with the current so you won’t get tangled up with other anglers. It can be overcrowded at times, but if you know how to fish the N Jetty then it isn’t the issue.
Since all I do is kayak fishing it’s a little tough. Can get really busy on the weekends. But a great place to fish.
