I've been fishing there for 3 years and me and my dad have never had a problem with topping out the fish limit normally we leave by 8 and get there by 8:40 to 9:00 then we go near the back of the lake on our boat and use an anchor and we fish and top the limit out.
I was lazy a couple days and tried at the fishing dock, with NO SUCCESS. Not even a bite. I finally brought my 16 foot Klamath boat out and anchored a few different places and I found my honey hole. I go to the same spot every time and limit out on good size trout very quickly. There is a little grass but not an issue for as I know what leader length to run when floating baits off the bottom. I’ve never lost any rigs to snags. Over all, fun little lake. Love coming here.
