Great for shore anglers and boat anglers alike! Plentiful with panfish for beginner anglers to catch and also produces good numbers of largemouth and smallmouth bass. Other species like carp, sucker, tench, pikeminnow, catfish, trout, Kokanee, and salmon, spice up the fishery.
I was lazy a couple days and tried at the fishing dock, with NO SUCCESS. Not even a bite. I finally brought my 16 foot Klamath boat out and anchored a few different places and I found my honey hole. I go to the same spot every time and limit out on good size trout very quickly. There is a little grass but not an issue for as I know what leader length to run when floating baits off the bottom. I’ve never lost any rigs to snags. Over all, fun little lake. Love coming here.
