Great to use bell sinkers and just let them sit on the bottom with your tension low so when they run you can grab it right away. We caught a lot of sheepshead and big bass on the other side of the boat landing right at the top of the incline. Only thing I have to say was bad is we lost a few lines on the bottom but for the most part if you keep pulling hard like handlining it comes out even though it feels like it’s going to break. So much fun. Great foot being your dogs and wonderful place to bring kids fishing too. Great environment.

Sadly this one is private and unless ya know the owner of the shore, you’ll need permission.. But grew up fishing this pond since I was 5 and I’m 40 now.. Finally taking my son who’s the age I was when I started.. 35 years ago. Thanks so much to the neighbors!
