You have to beat the brush to access the water. The whole pond is lined with dense cat tails. But there are some HOGS in this pond.
This creek’s water was clear enough to spot the fish. Seen a couple of bass and one gar. At first I used artificial bait and the bass didn’t seem interested. Came by the next day with live worms and they only would bite when I had a red worm hook on. I would leave out any weights. They tend to get caught up. I would recommend this spot for beginners to see how to finesse the fish using artificial. Good size bass but all seem to be under 3-4 pounds. Good luck!
