Lived in San Marcos my whole life and I have fished the San Marcos River since I was a child, and it doesn’t have the biggest fish but it is always fun to fish the banks. My recommendation though is definitely on a kayak more spots to fish and it’s awesome to see how clear the water is.

awesome lake I love this lake especially the upper part of the river raised and fish to Colorado River somewhat clear I would believe Baits of natural to perch type largemouth bass and catfish are promising Rocky bottom and upper River is muddy Flathead catfish
