This lake is my not-so-secret honey hole; It consistently produces bass over 4#. All the people complaining about it being shallow and murky obviously don’t know how to catch fish in shallow, muddy water. I have caught fish on the bank, in a kayak or using a fly rod. Aside from monster bass, you can also catch sizable cats and carp. I have won an all Texas water fishing tournament on this lake.
I've fished this spot for 6-7 years now and I can say that this has been my most successful spot. there are fish everywhere and for the most part pretty big ones. I've hooked onto large catfish and bass (but usually broke off because I use 4lb line too often).this spot gives you access to two different bodies of water and ample bank fishing area. also there is two hour free parking which is often abused and on a good day there will be parking available. It's a great spot and honestly I don't care if you go to it because Jon B (massive YouTube fisherman) has shown my spot to like a million people lol. it's no secret anymore.
15 million catch locations, advanced fishing maps and depth charts from Navionics- all the fishing intel you need to start fish smarter and catch more.
