There are many little trails to lead back there . Best bet is to go through the off post on post housing . Turn right by the shoppers off clear creek and drive to the very end . Then a left . Off to the right is a dirt trail. A truck is recommended though my Camry is able to make some spots. Follow the trails till you can’t anymore then walk . Go in the same direction and you’ll find the lake eventually. It’s considered on fort hood so you will need an on post license and access pass from the sportsman center . If you take Watercrest there are trails to lead to it and that side is considered off post so you don’t need a fort hood pass. But gate will be closed usually
This is a spot where the best spots can only be accessed by wading through the water. There are some big fish even though it’s shallow in that area past the bridge and frogs senkos and poppers is how I catch all of the big ones, but there are always small ones that come with. All and all it’s one of the best spots in Georgetown past that bridge💯💯💯💯
