Boat "ramp" is decent little walk from the parking lot and only smaller boats that can be hand carried will work here, like kayaks, canoes or inflatables. Great lake for largemouth bass, pickerel and bluegills/pumpkinseeds. The bass aren't really active until the sun gets low in the summer, pickerel and panfish bite all day and some of those panfish get to be the size of a hub cap. Rainbow and brown trout fishing in fall is pretty good when the water cools down. Yellow perch and white perch are also in this lake supposedly, I have yet to catch any perch here though.

Great winter fishing, usually guaranteed one brown trout and the panfish stack up in accessible areas so it’s my go to winter spot. The summer brings a lot of pressure but not a lot of people fish for carp and catfish over there so it’s no hard to catch them. I haven’t had the best luck with bass but I know if you kayak to the back of the lake bass would be there and be way easier to catch,
