Beautiful lake fishing isn’t what it was 30 years ago but are still blessed by the fish gods with a laker or rainbow ( 1 land lock salmon) and has every kind of fishing available for all ages. Let’s keep it beautiful by cleaning up and leaving it better than we found.
I like fishing this creek even though it’s a bit tougher to get to than the others around this lake, I always see 3-5 lb large mouths but they are a bit pressured so you have to finesse your way into catching one. I choose Ley Creek to do the review just because no one else has but all creeks around this area apply to what I’m saying. In the heat of summer you will se large mouth bass in 2-3 feet water feeding on gobies and bait fish during mid to late afternoon, I do live kinda far away so I don’t ever stay past 5pm so I don’t know if more come in as the sun goes down. Always an easy place to catch smaller bass, easy way to get your kids or girl friend into fishing by bringing them here the first time, I’d call all of these creeks my honey holes. I always fish 20 yards up stream and work my way back to the lake and I’m almost always catching at least 1 fish per creek.
