There is trout, but it ain’t easy, due to bass and bluegill in mainly summer times but also the good news it’s very quiet, not a lot of insects, big bass, a lot of bites, near Niagara, and you can mostly fish anytime without canoeing. I recommend use worms because they are more useful.

Perfect for all skill level of anglers. Kids can come and learn to fish catching an abundant amount of blue gill and the more advanced fisherman can go for largemouth bass, catfish, pike, and carp. Just no swimming, the snapping turtles are huge! Just wish there were more spots for disability access so people in wheelchairs can enjoy fishing here too.
