Where the Elkhart river branches off the St. Joseph river, there many different places to fish. There are 4+ bridges, rocky rapids, sandy bottoms, and weedlines to fish in the area. Bass and carp are plentiful. Although the water levels are low currently, I wouldn't be surprised if fishing will increase as the water levels rise.
If you leave around 7 pm and go to 9-10 pm, that’s when the fish bite the most. I’ve caught 14 fish in a span of 3 hours at this little spot. You have to be a resident as it’s a private pond but if you’re a member I highly suggest you get some red worms and fish on.
