Great fishing but water supply and temperature is an issue. C/R , barbless hooks, no cut throat harvest season does not open until July 1. Fourth of July is crowded. Water temp and fishing pressure is issue early in season. If water level stays up exceptional fishing in fall. Archery season (deer and elk,) area gets very busy. Scattered free camping (space to park tr only) with a fee pay area, toilets and water up Mill Canyon. Just follow Blackfoot river Mill Canyon will be on the right hand side. Also free developed (tol it and water) just across Blackfoot river bridge about 1 mile of hiway 34. Turn right off Hiway 34 at "China hat store".
