Absolutely beautiful place to explore. Enjoyed by shore, kayak and boaters alike. fishing includes plenty of live bait options....smelt , shiners and anchovies. popular game fish include california halibut, striped bass and occasionally a white sea bass or king salmon near the mouth. Enjoy the surrounding wildlife with the seals , brown pelicans and bat eagle rays.

Been fishing this place for 15 years and there always seems like there’s something to catch. Absolutely crush it in the evenings. I’ve fished on kayak with spinning rods and fly fished from the bank. Some evenings the top water action is unreal and dry flies are lethal. Most of the time I fish with night crawlers.
