Vernon Reservoir

no shade whatsoever but it's quite and fishing is really good

I'm surprised that the fish were so agessive

this is a great reservoir, but there is a lot of fishing trash on the bank. While I was hooked up, my dog decided to see how power bait tastes. She chose a clump that still had a hook in it. Luckily there was also a small amount of leader so I got it out without her swallowing it. The dog learned a lesson about scrounging for snacks, and I learned she can't be trusted to ignore the sparkly stuff.

Great fishing with an amazing view caught 11 in a day.

I went there and caught tons of rainbows in a short time. didn't catch any tigers or browns but the rainbows were fun

Best ice fishing Spot in Utah Granteed catch on rainbow trout limit within a half hour!!! Ice is pretty thick & it’s a lot colder here so bundle up & stay warm. The roads are not maintained in the winter so you will need 4 wheel drive & be prepared to make a trip to town for a phone call because the phone service sucks out this far in the desert.
