Great SO CO playground

Anglers and visitors need to clean up their act here and leave it better than they found it. Seen too many discarded fishing lines, cans, and trash. The night fish is very peaceful here and produces a variety of species you can catch right from shoreline.

save your lures, save your time.

horrible location. it's hot and in the desert, boaters will not care about wakes or belly boats/kayaks in the coves. beyond pressured waters both at nearby ponds and the reservation. cpw said the fishing was good there, no. 3 skilled anglers couldn't get fish to bite all weekend. save your lures, save your money go to the little pond near you. you'll catch more. they also charge a lot to camp. so, not worth the dirty, dusty trip.
