Found a little spot on the lake that has a playground in the park about 30yds from the bank where you fish. Perfect for fishing with little ones who might need a break to hit up the swings and not end the day. Caught the largest bass I have ever caught and met another very nice angler. All in all, a place worth dropping a line or two; you won’t be disappointed.
I have fished this lake for about 10 years and I have to say it is a pretty good spot. Live bait always produces and if you use the right lures, they do too, all catch and release, is nice, so the lake has a large population of bass, crappie, bluegill, and pike. Also a great spot to catch carp and catfish. Walleye are very rare, and so are Muskie, unless you know their patterns, all and all one of my favorite lakes to fish.
