So the family and I went camping for a quick 2 night get away! My son (4) and I were slaying the bluegill off the dock with some mini marshmallows! When a guy launched his boat and returned in an hour, I asked how he did. He limited on rainbows in less that an hour. He came over to the dock and we got to talking, he offered to take my son and I to his special spot! Within 45 minutes, we also limited!!! 5 beautiful rainbows!! My sons first experience catching a “big fish”. He was so excited! Thank you Alan!! Great angler, and an even better guy!!
It’s a great spot for fishing but please be aware this lake has special lure requirements and is catch and release only for ALL species. I see a lot of people posting pictures with bass and selecting that they didn’t release. Please don’t be the reason a species gets wiped out or fishing is not allowed because of not following the law.
