The smallmouth bite here can be top notch! Anywhere from 2ft-40ft. A deep stream bed (40ft) runs down the middle with fine black rubble. The wind can make for a tough day floating on the water and changes the current rapidly. Invest in a small anchor! This is also a great place to observe loons and a few bald eagles.
This small and quiet pond is great for catching lots of different kinds of fish such as largemouth bass, pickerel, rainbow trout, Crappie, and panfish. The biggest fish I’ve caught out of this pond was over 5 pounds. If you’re looking for a small pond to fish with lily pads and lots of weeds this place is perfect for you!
