Great place to get out on the water. Even when the parking lot seems full there is minimal traffic on the water. With the 9.9 HP limit, you won’t get swamped! Fishing can be slow at times but still figuring out the water. Blue gills always bite for the kids to enjoy!

Unsure why everything in the area links to Clearview Lake, also, have no idea what Clearview Lake is, and I've lived here for almost 40 years. Anyways. The only part I've messed about in is the Back Creek at Jae Valley Park. Very fun little puddle of water, and a surprising variety of fish for a tiny mountain stream. Extremely clear water, minimal litter, very healthy looking ecosystem with lots of darters, crawfish, chubs, and minnows. I've seen a couple carp and a handful of koi back here, not sure what they're doing this far up the mountain, but they're here.
