I gotta say, it just looked like an oversized community pond. I thought, “what the heck, let’s give it a shot.” I started off with a Black/purple worm and caught several “typical” bass. Then I hooked into a MONSTER! I was absolutely not expecting to catch a 7lb bass, but sure enough I got her along the bank. Hell of a first outing here, and I’ll be back soon. I ended up with 6 bass for the day! Give it a shot!

Was here on a Wednesday and really enjoyed the fact that for the several hours I was here I only saw three boats. The lake, it’s so much cleaner than lake Ray Hubbard, which is much closer to where I live. Well worth the drive and you can find places to buy bait which you cannot do at Lake Ray Hubbard!
