This place can be rewarded with big fish if you are lucky but in the summer time you will see a ton of weeds for where the fish hide which makes it better for flipping and pitching and top water and weightless lures. But this lake is mostly a top water fishing place but if it is cold just use a weightless senko and they will bite it.

Fly fished. Tried dry flies no luck. Put on a streamer with wooly bugger with zebra midge trailer and had insane action and caught 6 rainbows in 90 minutes with hits every few casts. Docks provide extra accessibility. Fun little spot that anyone can fish, would be good for kids or those new to fishing. An ODFW parking permit is needed, either 10 bucks for a daily pass or 30 for annual. About half mile trail to pond from parking but it’s a nice area.
