This branch of the Verdigris river is a great place. My fathers father took him here to fish, he took me and now I take my kids. One day I'll take my grand kids. This place has the perfect habitat for multiple species. Whether your fishing for sandbass, crappie, black bass, catfish or even gar, this place has it. I can't even count all the great memories I have from this place, they range from the old man landing an 8lb 3oz black bass to catching a 2lb crappie. I've even fought a 4ft gar from my kayak! This is an example of a well established habitat that fish thrive in. let's just keep it that way! #Fishbrainchallenge
Great fish so fish are about around 10 in. some are bigger snapping turtles in the pond I suggest you shouldn’t try catching them and it’s a catch and release pond only you are probably going to need a smaller car to park since most people there use golf carts. Overall it’s an amazing pond just to watch at night or fish.
